Hollygaze drifted into her own thoughts, starring up at the pre-dawn sky as she watched her warm breath disappear into the chilly air. She remembered the cat she met at the border, the way he smiled, the way he had made her feel. She used to dream of them some day running off together, raising their family and having the best time of their lives.

She was foolish then. Young and foolish. She would never have Half-Clan kits.
But even now she feels the same way about Stormfront. She would do anything for him. She's even bearing his own kits. Whatever he did or wherever she went, she would follow him through the end.

Hollygaze rolled over next to Stormfront, feeling warmth and comfront from his scent that wreathed around her. She closed her eyes.letting herself fall asleep into his fur, sweetly dreaming about her future with him - together.

Stormfront stood up, stretched his sore muscles, and glanced coldly down at the she-cat. Now she was asleep, and he could leave. They knew eachother's names, and he could always lie to her and tell her he was called to do dawn patrol. Or that he decided to go hunting. That was only a half-lie.

The black servaltom left the she-cat and continued to go she-cat hunting.
